The “International Journal of Adventure Therapy” is an international edition for publications from practice, practice research, master and doctoral theses as well as science and research.

The idea originated from an international ThinkTank and was implemented as an online edition in 2020.

The target group are researchers & practitioners, teachers and learners as well as interested readers in their own practice, training institutes, universities, social and health care institutions as well asrelated fields.

Aims of the magazine

In the spirit of the European idea, the team of editors is concerned with an edition that is dedicated
to the further development of experiential therapy in an interdisciplinary and international way.

Organizational

We strive for an international discourse between different theoretical and methodological approaches. Therefore, contributions with different theoretical approaches, methodological application (practice and project contexts), from international perspectives as well as research are desired.

are to be understood as categories reflecting the current state of the European discussion.The “International Journal of Adventure Therapy” publishes articles continuously in different languages, i.e. submissions are put online directly after the review process is completed.
