Chris­tia­ne Thie­sen | Lin­dau (Ger­ma­ny)

She was ac­ti­ve as a trai­ner for ex­pe­ri­en­ti­al edu­ca­tors from 2000–2014 and has been a mem­ber of va­rious or­ga­ni­sa­tio­nal and coor­di­na­ti­on teams for in­ter­na­tio­nal con­gres­ses, in­clu­ding “er­le­ben & ler­nen”, for al­most 20 ye­ars.

Du­ring an ERASMUS part­ner­ship she de­ve­lo­ped the Eu­ro­pean net­work “Ad­ven­ture The­ra­py Eu­ro­pe” (ATE) as well as the pro­fes­sio­nal pu­bli­ca­ti­on “Jour­nal Ad­ven­ture The­ra­py”.

Chris­tia­ne has ex­per­ti­se in the field of ex­pe­ri­en­ti­al education/adventure the­ra­py and com­bi­nes her work as a supervisor/coach with her skills as a qua­li­fied (oder: gra­dua­ted, um im wor­ding zu blei­ben) so­cial pe­dago­gue. This is prac­ti­cal­ly ap­pli­ed in the con­text of team and in­di­vi­du­al su­per­vi­si­on and as a com­pa­ny so­cial coun­sell­or in in­ter­na­tio­nal com­pa­nies.

As a self-em­ploy­ed pro­fes­sio­nal, she ac­com­pa­nies par­ents and ado­le­s­cents on fa­mi­ly dy­na­mics is­sues and works as a cer­ti­fied guar­di­an ad li­tem, sup­ple­men­ta­ry guar­di­an and le­gal guar­di­an for fa­mi­ly and guar­di­an­ship courts.

Alex­an­der Rose | Va­len­cia (Spain)

Alex­an­der Rose is pas­sio­na­te and com­mit­ted to in­tro­du­cing Ad­ven­ture the­ra­py in Spain and Eu­ro­pe sin­ce 2008. Cli­ni­cal Psy­cho­lo­gist and Sports Sci­en­tist, he holds both Mas­te­ries in Cli­ni­cal and He­alth Psy­cho­lo­gy, and in Drug coun­sel­ling. Lec­tu­rer at dif­fe­rent uni­ver­si­ties sin­ce 2000, he curr­ent­ly com­bi­nes his work as a Psy­cho­lo­gist in pri­va­te prac­ti­ce whe­re he in­tro­du­ces na­tu­re ba­sed ac­ti­vi­ties, with de­ve­lo­ping the field of Ad­ven­ture the­ra­py no­wa­days as CEO of Ter­a­pia Aven­tura (Spain) and pre­si­dent of the NGO Your Wind­Ro­se (Spain).

He has for­mal­ly in­tro­du­ced Ad­ven­ture and na­tu­re-ba­sed the­ra­py in Spain th­rough de­ve­lo­ping, im­ple­men­ting and eva­lua­ting se­ve­ral spe­ci­fic pro­grams. He has work­ed with youth at risk (drug re­ha­bi­li­ta­ti­on and pre­ven­ti­on, dro­pout pro­blems, ado­le­s­cents with Asperger’s), adults with drug ab­u­se pro­blems, adults with se­ve­re men­tal he­alth pro­blems, adults with can­cer in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Out­ward Bound Bel­gi­um, men­tal he­alth pro­fes­sio­nals with burn­out, etc. No­wa­days he coa­ches and su­per­vi­ses se­ve­ral pro­grams of his or­ga­niza­ti­ons.

He has also trai­ned men­tal he­alth pro­fes­sio­nals in Spain, Ice­land and Greece, and no­wa­days in Ger­ma­ny at the Ad­ven­ture The­ra­py In­sti­tu­te (ATI).

Per Wi­jnands | Br­oek­hui­zen (The Ne­t­her­lands)

For more than 20 ye­ars he has been working suc­cessful­ly with fa­mi­lies, in­di­vi­du­als and va­rious groups strugg­ling with mul­ti­ple psych­ia­tric and men­tal he­alth pro­blems on the ba­sis of ex­pe­ri­en­ti­al edu­ca­ti­on. He is the first Dutch per­son to bear the title “Er­leb­nis­päd­ago­ge be®” sin­ce 2020 and is cer­ti­fied by the “Bun­des­ver­band In­di­vi­du­al- und Er­leb­nis­päd­ago­gik e.V.”, Ger­ma­ny (Fe­de­ral As­so­cia­ti­on for In­di­vi­du­al and Ex­pe­ri­en­ti­al Edu­ca­ti­on).
Per Wi­jnands has re­gu­lar­ly gi­ven cour­ses and work­shops on ex­pe­ri­en­ti­al edu­ca­ti­on and ad­ven­ture the­ra­py for many ye­ars.

He is co-foun­der of the Ad­ven­ture The­ra­py In­sti­tu­te GmbH & Co. KG, the Eu­ro­pean Ad­ven­ture The­ra­py Net­work (ATE) and co-in­itia­tor of GATE (Gathe­ring for Ad­ven­ture The­ra­py in Eu­ro­pe). In the Ne­t­her­lands and Ger­ma­ny, he is in­vol­ved in va­rious ex­pe­ri­en­ti­al edu­ca­ti­on and ad­ven­ture the­ra­py working groups and net­works. Tog­e­ther with Mo­ni­que Sche­res he is the aut­hor of the book “Hand­boek Ad­ven­ture The­ra­pie met kin­de­ren, jon­ge­ren en hun ge­zin­nen” -“hand­book of ad­ven­ture the­ra­py with child­ren, ado­le­s­cents and their fa­mi­lies”.
